  • PayPal is a PSP (Payment Service Provider)
  • Open a verified Business account at PayPal.com (verified is not really necessary but it is easier for you to handle your monetary affairs with it).
  • Then, at the PayPal site:
    Click on Business Tools
    Click on API Credentials
    Click on (Get Started)
    Copy the CLIENT ID and the SECRET into the YourShop BackOffice PayPal configuration, No 10, then click on (Done) on the PayPal page.
  • Click the PayPal logo in the YourShop BackOffice. The YourShop FrontStore shows the logo during checkout.
  • While still at the YourShop BackOffice, specify the currencies you handle at PayPal and specify the primary currency. YourShop takes the primary currency if one of your shop currencies is not supported at PayPal.
  • Finally click [Save] and synchronise Tools Only to accept payments via PayPal.
