Help : COUPONS : List coupons

  • You can sort the coupons by [ Id ][# Sales][Coupon][Status][Code][Start Date][End Date].
  • If the generated coupon list is too long add filters to reduce it.
  • Note 1:
  • When the coupon list is generated, click on an Id number in the second column to modify a coupon.
  • Note 2:
  • You can also click the checkbox of several coupons, in the first column of the generated coupon list, and select either [Block][Activate][Clone][Delete] at the [Actions] selection box, to modify their status immediately.
  • Coupon Filters
  • Coupon:
  • Choose between [Percentage] or [Amount].
  • Note: [Amount] coupons have the option: Repeat the coupon amount. If this option is enabled, the customer will receive the coupon amount as many times as there are products in the shopping cart, otherwise only once. For more information on multiple products, see Minimum condition.
  • Note: To provide a free product bonus, select the percentage 100%. Only the postage remains.
  • Reward:
  • Money means: When the coupon is applied, the coupon amount or percentage changes the purchase amount.
  • Product means: When the coupon is applied, your chosen product gets added to the customer's cart. As the added product is free, make it an amount coupon and set the amount equal to the chosen product's price.
  • Note: If the coupon conditions are no longer met, the coupon, and the product are removed.
  • Note: If the customer deletes the product from the cart, the coupon is removed too. To have the coupon again, the customer must start a new web session.
  • Note: If your chosen product is already in the customer's cart when the coupon is applied, then only the coupon is added for the customer to have this product for free. If the coupon conditions are no longer met, the product stays in the cart, but the coupon is removed.
  • Note: To ensure that the adding of products by coupons functions correctly, only select products which have 1. No Options, 2. Does not require the customer to provide Text about the product, 3. Are not Rental Products and 4. Do not require Special Delivery Services.
  • Note: To ensure that the adding of products by coupons functions correctly, only create one coupon for each specific product you want to add.
  • Note: Limit the product to one per sale. This makes the product more exclusive.
  • For example, add this Horse Lorry YourShop.net/b6c165p126i1.html to the cart, then check out the cart. You will see that besides the Horse Lorry, there is also Namibia, an Arabian Horse in the cart.
  • Code:
  • The coupon code is case sensitive. It can be anything, for example: 50%OFF
  • Note: If you do not set a coupon code, everyone will receive the coupon during checkout without having to do anything. However, you have several options to limit a coupon to a particular client, a category, a product. The conditions are combined with "AND".
  • VAT:
  • Full means: When redeemed, the VAT is calculated from the full product price.
  • Discount means: When redeemed, the VAT is calculated from the discount product price.
  • Balance:
  • Balance written out in full is: Coupon Retains Remaining Balance
  • Yes means: The customer can redeem the coupon on several purchases - with each purchase, the customer is reminded of the remaining balance of the coupon.
  • No means: Remaining balance expires if the coupon value is higher than the purchase value.
  • Note: For the Yes option to work correctly, activate the free payment method in the [TOOLS] section. Then, on the [CHOOSE HOW TO PAY THE PURCHASE] page connect the free payment method to the delivery services. Finally synchronise only tools. Please note, the customer does not have to select a payment method at checkout, as the only available free payment method, is already preselected to complete the purchase.
  • Client:
  • Limit the coupon to a specific client.
  • Note: To give a valued client 10% off every sale without requiring them to provide a coupon code, create a coupon just for THIS CLIENT and leave the coupon code field blank.
  • Note: The client condition is only taken into account when the customer is authenticated.
  • Category:
  • Limit the coupon to a specific category.
  • Note: The coupon is valid for all products found in this category and its sub-categories.
  • Note: Do not limit the coupon to a specific category, if the coupon is already limited to a specific product.
  • Product:
  • Limit the coupon to a specific product.
  • Note: Do not limit the coupon to a specific product, if the coupon is already limited to a specific category.
  • Minimum:
  • For the coupon to be valid, the client must buy at least this many products.
  • Note: For [Amount] coupons with the Repeat the coupon amount option activated, the customer will receive the coupon amount as many times as there are multiples of Minimum products in the shopping cart.
  • Note: For [Percentage] coupons and if you have activated Single Coupon on the [Checkout Behaviour] page in the [TOOLS] section, you can for example create a 10% coupon for 3 products and a 20% coupon for 6 products or more. Clients who buy 3 to 5 products benefit from the 10% coupon, while clients who buy 6 or more products benefit from the 20% coupon.
  • Total:
  • For the coupon to be valid, the client must purchase at least the total amount. The postage and packaging are not taken into account. If you have activated the Single Coupon option on the [Checkout Behaviour] page in the [TOOLS] section, you can for example create a 10% coupon for a total amount of 150 CHF and a 15% coupon for a total amount of 250 CHF or more.
  • Nth Sale:
  • Limit the coupon to a particular sale. For example, setting the number to 1 means that the coupon is only valid for a first sale to each client.
  • Note: The Nth Sale condition is only taken into account when the customer is authenticated.
  • Max Sales:
  • Limit the coupon to a maximum number of sales no matter who does the buying. Once the number of sales is reached, YourShop no longer accepts the coupon.
  • Max per Client:
  • This is the maximum number of times a client can redeem a specific coupon.
  • Note: If you use the purchase as a guest option during checkout, the coupon will be invalid.
  • Note: The Max per Client condition is only taken into account when the customer is authenticated.
  • Excluded:
  • New, rental, standard and special offer products may be excluded from the coupon's validity. Multiple selections are possible.
  • Start Date:
  • The coupon is only active when the Start Date and Start Time are reached.
  • End Date:
  • The coupon is no longer valid when the End Date and End Time are reached.
  • Note: Date and Time must be separated by a blank, as for example: 2009-03-06 22:30
