  • PostFinance is a PSP (Payment Service Provider)
  • Open an account at www.postfinance.ch
  • PostFinance will provide you with access to their BackOffice. Once logged in at https://e-payment.postfinance.ch/, you will need to activate your account - call PostFinance Support if you have any queries.
  • Then, while still at the PostFinance BackOffice, click on [Technical information] in the left hand column and fill in the following fields:
  • Remark: Leave all not mentioned parameters blank
  • Global transaction parameters
    Default operation codeSale
    Processing for individual transactionsAlways online (Immediate).
    Data and origin verification
    URL of the merchant page...Ask YourShop support for the value.
    SHA-1-IN SignatureWrite some secret text and save this text also in the corresponding YourShop BackOffice field.
    Transaction feedback
    Direct HTTP server-to-server requestAlways online (immediately after the payment to allow customisation of the response seen by the customer).
    URL of the merchant's post-...Ask YourShop support for the value and leave the cancellation URL blank as YourShop provides its value automatically.

  • Further steps at the YourShop BackOffice:
  • Specify the currencies you handle at PostFinance and specify the primary currency. YourShop takes the primary currency if one of your shop currencies is not supported at PostFinance.
  • Then click all the logos for which you will take payment at PostFinance. The YourShop FrontStore shows these logos.
  • Finally click [Save] and you are ready to accept payments via PostFinance.
  • Note: You must not set the Testmode after you have introduced your production parameters.
