YourShop offers you the option to sell downloadable software, pictures or other downloadable informational items in a file.
Download is best used only with payment by credit card.
The client cannot access the download file if payment has not been successfully completed. YourShop provides a unique link for every download file in the checkout confirmation HTML page, and then sends this link in the confirmation email. The link stays valid for the next 3 days and is then no longer accessible.
Leave the selector on blank or as-is [ ] if you do not wish to add or modify a download file. There are two ways to add a download file:
[Recycle]
a download file which is already on YourShop's server. Click Search if you cannot remember its name.
[Upload]
the download file from your computer onto the server. Remember that the download filename should only contain the alphanumeric characters [a-zA-Z0-9], underlines, hyphens and dots.
Note 1:
Links less than 3 days will still be valid, even if you delete the product.
Note 2:
A field for a temporary licence will be visible when you activate the download option.
