For each product, your clients can upload up to 5 files during checkout.
An example of the benefits of this: Buyers upload a picture that could be printed on products like t-shirts, mugs, business cards.
How to download the uploaded files?
1. Click on the file link in the purchase confirmation email.
2. Log into the YourShop BackOffice, click on [Orders], then open an order and click on the file link.
3. If your shop has FTP access, log into the YourShop FTP account and download the files from the /_uploads/ directory.
Note:
For security reasons and to prevent creating another open file transfer server, YourShop:
1. Replaces the uploaded file name by the file upload number and adds the original file's extension. Example: For the 5th file upload of the file my-fruit-logo.jpg, the resulting name would be 5.jpg.
2. Does not let the client know the generated name.
3. Deletes the uploaded files after 7 days.
4. Limits the file size to 5 MB.
5. Has the right to immediately delete all uploaded files if a denial of service attack is happening.
6. Does not allow uploading of PHP files aka .php.
Note:
YourShop does not check files for viruses or malware. Take the necessary precautions when downloading the uploaded files.
